StarTech HDMI2VGA Review: I purchased this product in order to run HDMI enabled Android tablets and mobile devices on a video projector for presentations. As a previous viewer noted (unfortunately, after I bought the thing) this box will have issues with HDCP (HollywooD Cripples their Products). Basically, this box will indeed downsample/convert a signal to VGA... but certain devices will not output a signal when they detect their signal being downsampled.
